Welcome to the Sierra Curtis Neighborhood Association and the Sierra 2 Center for the Arts and Community.

SCNA represents over 2,500 households in the historic Curtis Park neighborhood located just south of downtown Sacramento. Sierra 2 Center tenants include local dance companies, catering firms, religious and social services, and other community based organizations. Rental spaces are also available for weddings, conferences, parties and stage performances. Sierra 2 Center is a welcoming gathering place for neighbors as well as the entire Sacramento community.

First Friday - w/ Slightly Skewed Food Truck

What are you doing for dinner this Friday?  Hanging out with your neighbors here at the Sierra 2 Center, that's what :)  Give your kitchen a break and let us do all the work - we have the Slightly Skewed Food Truck cooking up a fabulous menu. Adult plates are $8, kids eat for $4 +plus we have activities for the kids and all of the socializing you can handle!  If you are new to the neighborhood or just want to venture out of your own - we are a very friendly bunch and WE WANT YOU HERE!

 

Best Friend Friday - NorCal Cocker Rescue

Join us on Friday, August 8th to meet and mingle with the NorCal Cocker Rescue. Based in Sacramento, and serving the greater Northern California area, NorCal Cocker Rescue works with public shelters to place at risk Cocker Spaniels and Spaniel mixes in loving forever homes, and also serves as a resource regarding the unique needs of the Cocker Spaniel breed. NorCal Cocker Rescue is an all-volunteer, not-for-profit Corporation, registered in the State of California.  DOGS WELCOME!!! 
$5 entry, includes free hors d'oeuvres.

  
 

8th Annual Curtis Fest

CALL TO LOCAL ARTISTS!
We are now accepting applications from local artists for booths at the 8th Annual Curtis Fest.  This year’s spectacular event will be held on Sunday, August 24th at Curtis Park from 10am-4pm.  Each 10x10 space is $50 and reservations are due by August 8th.  Once again we will have approximately 50 artists, food trucks, a petting zoo, a children’s fairy, and live music.  The event will be followed by Music in the Park from 6pm-8pm.

Senior Center, which offers people social interaction and activities. Located in Room 12 at the Sierra 2 Center, it is open to all seniors 50+ years old Monday-Friday. Hours vary depending on the scheduled activities. For a list of activities and events visit the Senior Center page.
