Welcome to the Sierra Curtis Neighborhood Association and the Sierra 2 Center for the Arts and Community.

SCNA represents over 2,500 households in the historic Curtis Park neighborhood located just south of downtown Sacramento. Sierra 2 Center tenants include local dance companies, catering firms, religious and social services, and other community based organizations. Rental spaces are also available for weddings, conferences, parties and stage performances. Sierra 2 Center is a welcoming gathering place for neighbors as well as the entire Sacramento community.

28th Annual Curtis Park Home & Garden Tour
April 26
Join the tour and partake of beautiful houses in Monterey, Tudor and Foursquare styles along with music and food at the north end of Curtis Park. The Capitol A’s Model A Ford Club will tour the neighborhood throughout the event, recalling the era when Curtis Park was just taking shape. Tickets can be purchased online or at Collected Works and Haus. Advance General Admission tickets are $20 ($15 for SCNA members). The day of the tour tickets are $25 ($20 for SCNA members).

BIG Day of Giving
May 6
What is BIG Day of Giving? It is a 24-hour online giving challenge with a matching pool of funds for local participating nonprofits. Starting at midnight on May 6th, you will be able to make a donation starting at just $25 to nonprofits like Sierra 2 Center who make a difference in the Sacramento community.  Donations will be matched, making your contributions go even further. Be prepared to give where your heart is! #givebigdog



Annual Neighborhood Yard Sale

The community is invited to enjoy walking or driving thru the Curtis Park neighborhood to search for bargains at this annaul neighbnorhood wide sale that was established in 2007. Homes and streets thru out the neighborhood will be participating in this event so bring lots of cash and enjoy the hunt!



8th Annual Curtis Fest
Sunday, August 24
Call To Local Artists:
We are now accepting applications from local artists for booths at the 8th Annual Curtis Fest.  This year’s spectacular event will be held on Sunday, August 24th at Curtis Park from 10am-4pm.  Each 10x10 space is $50 and reservations are due by August 8th.  Once again we will have approximately 50 artists, food trucks, a petting zoo, a children’s fairy, and live music.  The event will be followed by Music in the Park from 6pm-8pm.

Sierra 2 Senior Center
SCNA and the community support a thriving Senior Center, which offers people social interaction and activities. Located in Room 12 at the Sierra 2 Center, it is open to all seniors 50+ years old Monday-Friday. Hours vary depending on the scheduled activities.
