Membership Information

SCNA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation. Your SCNA membership helps sustain the Sierra 2 Center, which makes the Curtis Park neighborhood one of the most unique communities in Sacramento. Your dues support  Sierra 2 Centers’ ongoing work to create a special neighborhood through community events and activities. Gifts and memberships to SCNA may be tax deductible, for the amount over any compensation received in return; consult your tax advisor.

Join today! There are special privileges for each category listing. You can sign up by printing out and filling in the membership application or sign up online. 

The SCNA boundaries: Highway 99 on the east; Interstate 80 on the north; Freeport Boulevard south of Fourth Avenue/the Union Pacific railroad tracks north of Fourth Avenue on the west; Sutterville Road on the south.

Individual Member: $40
• Voting privilege for one in the annual SCNA Board of Directors Election
• Free home delivery of Viewpoint, SCNA's newspaper which keeps residents informed about neighborhood events and issues
• Discount on all SCNA special events including the annual Wine Tasting and Home & Garden Tour
• A one-time rental discount on a Sierra 2 Center room

Household Member: $50
All of the above plus:
•  Voting privilege for one in annual SCNA Board of Directors Election
•  Discount for two on all SCNA special events, including the annual Wine Tasting and Home & Garden Tour

Supporter: $100
All of the above plus:
• Recognition in SCNA's annual Donor Tribute page in Viewpoint
• A free personal ad in Viewpoint

Sponsor: $250
All of the above plus:
• Two free tickets to an SCNA event of your choice
• Invitation to annual SCNA Board of Directors Thank You Reception

Patron: $500
All of the above plus:
• Two more free tickets to an SCNA event of your choice
• Two-hour free room rental at Sierra 2 for a private event (not including Curtis Hall)

Benefactor: $1,000
All of the above plus:
• Four free tickets to all SCNA events including the Wine Tasting and Home & Garden Tour
• Prominent recognition in SCNA's annual Donor Tribute page in Viewpoint

Associate Member: $60
• For those outside the neighborhood, we offer the Associate Membership. This includes mailed delivery of Viewpoint, SCNA's newspaper which keeps you informed of neighborhood events and issues.
