“The new production by Light Opera Theater of Sacramento is presenting an outstanding production, under the direction of Debbie Baad.
A 20-piece orchestra starts things off. It’s a surprisingly large orchestra for a community theater, and under the baton of Anne-Marie Endres it plays flawlessly — professional enough to fill the large theater with the overture, yet able to play softly enough so as not to compete with the singers on stage.
