Build a foundation for greater intercultural communication with this beginner course, for those with little to no experience with Spanish. Learn a new language in a simplified, comfortable and fun environment!

Why learn Spanish?

  • Spanish is the second largest language spoken in the United States, with 33 million speakers.
  • Being a Spanish speaker looks great on a resume & makes you more competitive in the workforce.
  • Feel more comfortable traveling to Spanish-speaking counties & immerse yourself in the culture.
  • Our memories fade as we age but learning a language can help us sharp!

Tips for Mastering a Second Language

  1. Learn with a buddy! It’s good to have an accountability partner and a study buddy to practice conversations.
  2.  Don’t be afraid to sound ridiculous! It’s part of the learning process to sound silly pronouncing new words and sounds. Embrace it instead of letting it keep you from fully learning.
  3. Download an App. A language app can be a fun way to keep practicing outside of class. Our favorite is DuoLingo for really nailing down vocabulary.
  4. Go on a Vacation! What better way to learn a language than by immersing yourself in it!
