‘I can’t even draw a stick figure.’

Well, we think you can learn!

In this 6- week introduction to drawing, we will start with simple drawing exercises to get comfortable with mark making, then we’ll move onto the fun and excitement of contour line and finish up with lighting and shading!

You will leave the class series with a basic understanding of how to make a drawing, resources to continue growing as a drawist and the knowledge that you too, can draw! Pick up your pencil and join us at the Sierra 2 Learnery!

About the Instructor: Cate the Funmaker is a Sacramento area artist, crafter and instructor who empowers and encourages others to explore their creativity without trepidation, no matter their level of prior experience. The transformative power of art is something we can all experience when we let go of perfection and enjoy the process. Cate is addicted to encaustic painting, Beemster gouda, and dogs.

Registration is closed. Please email Katie if you’d like to know about similar classes in the future.
