An event every week that begins at 9:00am on Thursday, repeating indefinitely

Walking is good for your mind and body!

9:00 a.m., meets in the main parking lot by the basketball courts.
Fees: walking is free
Pole rental: $5, Purchase poles: $60

NOTE: Group does not meet on rainy days.

This group meets every Thursday morning for a fast-paced spin around the beautiful neighborhood of Curtis Park. All fitness levels are welcome. Walking is great for your heart and your back, and spending time outdoors is beneficial to your mental wellness! Some walkers reach for walking poles to increase the intensity of the walk. Pole walking is popular in Europe and improves your pace, endurance, and upper-body strength.

If you are new to pole walking, you can take a lesson with Angela Mia to learn the correct pole walking technique.

Cost for Lesson: $10/ drop-in; Wellness Program punch cards accepted.
