City skylines serve as a kind of fingerprint of a city, as no two are exactly alike. The Sacramento skyline is iconic in it’s own right, thanks in part to the bold Tower Bridge heading into West Sac. Join local watercolor artist Tonja Wilcox as she guides participants through the process of recreating our city’s skyline with paint and ink. The Sacramento City Skyline is one of Tonja’s most popular prints for sale. With this workshop, participants can put their own spin on their skyline!

With a materials fee of $35, participants get to keep the following materials for additional artistic endeavors:

  • Paper (3 sheets)
  • Ruler
  • Micron pen and pencil
  • Paint brushes (2)
  • Starter Watercolor palette with paint
  • A template

Tonja Wilcox has been  a dedicated artist since 2010, although she’s been creative her whole life. She uses a variety of mediums including, graphite pencils, colored pencil, ink pens, markers and acrylic paint but it is watercolor that speaks the loudest to her. It’s soothing and it suits her style.
