Watercolor Fundamentals for Beginners

Gain mastery of the watercolor fundamentals in this new workshop! In the first half of the workshop, spend time learning about the right kind of paper, paint and brushes to use, and practice a variety of watercolor painting techniques including: wet on wet, wet on dry, glazing, and masking. In the final two hours, you will put your new-found skills to work, completing two small watercolor paintings with step-by-step instruction by instructor Teresa. This class is perfect for beginners or those with a little watercolor experience. All materials will be provided. There will be time for a half hour lunch break (bring a brown bag lunch or dine off-site.)
Teresa Steinbach-Garcia is an exhibiting and award-winning artist, with a background in graphic design and fine art. A native Californian and a Design graduate of The University of California at Davis, Teresa Steinbach-Garcia works in a painterly realistic style to record her world be it landscape, still life or portrait.
