The sky is the limit! Learning to paint watercolor skies allows you to set any mood for your landscape or seascape. Whether it’s a clear, sunny sky or a stormy night, the sky can play a supporting role or be the major star of a composition. Changing continuously, it has endless variety in appearances. Learn to balance warm and cool colors and make 3D clouds using shadows and lifting techniques.
No drawing skills needed. Good for beginners and intermediate level painters.
Watercolor paint generally has a translucent quality, which is great for ethereal or emotive effects. Blending colors is fun, and you can also layer imagery so that what is underneath shows through. Watercolors are generally more affordable than some other paint mediums and are light weight for easy transporting. This workshop will arm you with the tips & tricks to maximize your watercolor experience.
