Janelle Sebren, the owner/director/teacher of The Sacramento Academy of Dance, has been a Licentiate of the Cecchetti Council of America since 1986. She has also received the Council's coveted "Young Teacher of the Year" award. During her fifteen year professional dance career, she performed with the Tulsa Ballet, The Scala Theater in Barcelona, and was Prima Ballerina with the Nevada Dance Theater.
