SCNA adopts William Curtis Park–Needs Volunteers for Clean-up day on April 6

SCNA Adopts William Curtis Park – Needs Volunteers for Clean-Up Day April 6th

The Sierra Curtis Neighborhood Association has officially adopted William Curtis Park through the City of Sacramento Partners in Parks program. This program allows volunteers to adopt a City park and perform routine clean-up, maintenance and gardening. City Parks Operation staff will provide the training and bring some tools and equipment.

We need volunteers for our first clean-up day on April 6th from 9:00 am to 12:00. We will work trimming bushes, raking leaves and spreading mulch around the tennis courts and playground. On future days, we will clean-up and paint around the baseball diamond and mulch around trees in the park. Please join your neighbors to show we care about out park.

You and your family can sign up as volunteers by emailing NCC@sierra2.org. We will email you with a list of anything you may need to bring.
