Facility Rental Deposit & Payment Policies

Weekend Rentals (Friday – Sunday) in Room 10, the Garden Room, and Curtis Hall

  • Refundable security deposit due at time of booking. Balance due 60 days prior to event.
  • Late fee of $25 added if balance not paid by due date.
  • All reservations made with less than 60 days notice must be paid in full at time of booking.
  • Cancellations made more than 60 days from the event date, deposit will be refunded minus a $50 cancellation fee.
  • For cancellations made less than 60 days from event date, deposit is forfeited and only the paid rental fees will be refunded.
  • No shows will forfeit both deposit and rental fees.
  • Refunds are processed by check within 10 business days of the cancellation.

Weekday Rentals (All Rooms) & Weekend Rentals (Rooms 9, 11, and 12)

  • Refundable security deposit due at time of booking. Balance due 30 days prior to event.
  • Late fee of $25 added if balance not paid by due date.
  • All reservations made with less than 30 days notice must be paid in full at time of booking.
  • Cancellations made more than 300 days from the event date, deposit will be refunded minus a $50 cancellation fee.
  • For cancellations made less than 30 days from event date,  rental fees are forfeited and only the deposit will be refunded.
  • No shows will forfeit both deposit and rental fees.
  • Refunds are processed by check within 10 business days of the cancellation.

Frequently Asked Questions

When is my reservation considered “confirmed?”

Confirmation of space requires a room request form, signed rental policies and rental agreement, as well as payment of the deposit.

When is my balance due?

For weekend events, your balance is due 60 days prior to the event. For weekday events, the balance is due 30 days prior.

Do I need to pay for set up and clean up time?

Yes, any time that you are using the room must be included in your rental and paid for – please consider how much time you will need for decorating or arrival times of caterers, photographers, DJs, etc.

How late can my event run?

Amplified music must end at 10 pm, and the venue must be vacated by 11 pm.

What happens if we run late?

Late departures will be assessed a fee equal to time and half for each additional 15 minutes (deducted from the deposit) for extended usage beyond specified end time.

Do we have to rent tables and chairs separately?

Tables and chairs are included with your room rental; however, linens are not included.

What size tables do you have?

Sierra 2 Center provides 6-ft and 8-ft rectangular banquet tables and 5-ft round tables.

Can we serve alcohol?

Beer, wine, and champagne is allowed, but hard alcohol is not permitted. Only non-profits may sell alcohol with an ABC license.
