The organization supports the arts by hiring artists to teach children with disabilities. Ms. Marusina will be discussing the goals and needs of their group. Bring your sack lunch, enjoy free coffee, and become more informed.

Yoga takes a two-week break
Yoga teacher Tara Stiles will be in Australia for two weeks: March 29- April 17 when there will be no Gentle Yoga, Chair Yoga or Tai Chi classes.

Survey for Caring Neighbors Project
The Senior Center is joining with the city of Sacramento to create the Caring Neighbors Project in Curtis Park. The purpose of the project is to create a group of volunteers from our own neighborhood who will be available to assist seniors in Curtis Park with things such as small household jobs, a ride to the doctor's office, or check-in phone calls. An initial canvassing of neighborhoods to meet seniors with such needs and potential volunteers will be conducted by college students during April. The students will carry ID's. For more information, please call Janice at 455-6339.
