Volunteers needed to help with Homeowners and Renters Assistance Program

Volunteers are needed to assist with the Homeowners and Renters Assistance Program at the Senior Center at Sierra 2. Willing volunteers will undergo four hours of training by the state Franchise Tax Board in June and then will be enlisted help those eligible for the program to fill out their necessary forms. Senior Center volunteers will be needing from July 16 - August 6 and from September 17 - October 1 for two hours a week. For more information, please call Janice at 455-6339.

Donations needed for Senior Center Flea Market booth

The Senior Center is looking for donations of household goods and collectibles (with the exception of books) for the annual SCNA Flea Market, where the Senior Center will have a booth as a fundraiser. Sales from the donations contribute to the support of operating the Senior Center at Sierra 2. Donations may be dropped off at the Senior Center on one day only - Friday, May 18 from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. For more information, call Janice at 455-6339.
